Environmental Services Technician - Full Time AND Part Time Available

Looking for work? Do you have experience doing janitorial or custodial work? Join Goodwill of North Georgia and be part of something meaningful. We transform donations into training that helps people overcome barriers to employment.

We are offering both full-time and part-time Environmental Services Technician (EST) positions at our store. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the store's cleanliness through housekeeping and janitorial tasks. The full-time schedule consists of four consecutive eight-hour days, while the part-time schedule involves three days of eight hours each.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
• Operate buffers and floor scrubbers after training.
• Manage trash removal and bathroom sanitation.
• Follow task outlines and comply with ISO regulations, company, and state policies to ensure safety and security.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the workday.
• Capability to work in various conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
• Ability to load and unload donated items physically, with or without accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
