Position: Enterprise Business Development Representative - Italy
Your Impact
We seek a high-energy, creative, team-oriented Business Account Developer to join our rapidly growing Milan team. Your role will involve establishing, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with leadership contacts within medium to large companies, uncovering opportunities to deploy Mirakl's marketplace platform and gaining strategic market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Articulate the ability to work entrepreneurially and creatively to find and engage new opportunities where Mirakl's platform can impact business. A commercial mindset is essential for this sales development role.
- Serve as the critical link between Marketing and Sales teams, supporting campaigns and engaging prospects through events, webinars, and other touchpoints.
- Build a structured approach to prospecting within your territory, focusing on industries where Mirakl is strong.
- Communicate the value of marketplace strategies clearly, engaging prospects with new ideas and excitement about what Mirakl can do for their business.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via calls and events, demonstrating initiative and confidence.
- Manage inbound inquiries from interested companies, cultivating these into new opportunities, often being the first contact from Mirakl.
- Consistently meet targets to create a pipeline of opportunities that will convert into clients.
- Maintain resilience and a positive attitude, understanding that success requires effort and persistence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience in sales or new business development, with a strong ethic towards service and goal achievement.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially towards senior-level audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- International mindset and willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally internationally.
- Based in Milan.
