Job description: JOB PURPOSE

The Candidate will join the Enterprise Architecture team as a Senior Enterprise Architect, responsible for defining and governing the long-term technology strategy that supports the business transformation.

Operating at the intersection of business and IT, the candidate will shape the architectural evolution across domains (business, data, application, infrastructure), ensuring strategic alignment with enterprise objectives and future-proofing the IT landscape.

The candidate will drive key architecture initiatives, guide solution design at the program level, and function as a critical advisor across transformation workstreams (Omnichannel, CRM, ERP, Corporate, e-Commerce, and Supply Chain), ensuring scalability, interoperability, and governance across various ecosystems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development of the enterprise architecture roadmap and target-state architecture across all major domains.
  • Align business strategy and priorities with technology investments and platform evolution.
  • Establish architecture standards, patterns, and guiding principles to govern enterprise-wide design choices and ensure architectural compliance.
  • Function as an escalation point and architecture authority for strategic programs (CRM, Clienteling, ERP convergence, Omnichannel).
  • Drive evaluation and selection of key architectural options, supporting business cases and trade-off analysis.
  • Provide architectural oversight to ensure solution consistency and long-term sustainability.
  • Define architectural scenarios to support post-merger migration onto group platforms.
  • Govern data harmonization and system convergence to enable operational integration while preserving brand independence.
  • Guide the architectural model for multi-brand operations (one-company vs. multi-entity models), balancing control and flexibility.
  • Influence senior stakeholders by translating complex technology decisions into clear business value.
  • Collaborate with Business, IT, Solution Architects, and external vendors to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect in complex transformation programs.
  • Strong history in retail, preferably fashion / luxury, or from leading consultancy firms with deep exposure to global operating models.
  • Architecture Knowledge : Solid understanding of main Enterprise architecture standards, organization principles and tools.
  • Direct experience across domains : CRM, ERP (SAP preferred), eCommerce, Omnichannel, Clienteling, Master Data, Middleware, and Cloud services.
  • Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX, ArchiMate).
  • Strategic thinking, problem structuring, and ability to drive decision-making across functional and technological stakeholders.
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-brand, or post-M&A integration projects
  • Influential communicator and trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and ability to foster collaboration across domains.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing competing priorities.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a passion for retail innovation.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
