Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Enterprise AI Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable, production-ready AI and GenAI solutions and guide engineering teams.

You'll define end-to-end architectures, select models and platforms, and establish AI governance and security standards. This role requires collaboration across business and technical teams, plus fluency in Italian and English, with a hybrid work model across multiple Italian cities.

YOUR ROLE

As an Enterprise AI Solutions Architect at Capgemini Engineering you will be responsible for design and govern secure, scalable and production-ready AI and GenAI solutions. The role combines architecture leadership with practical knowledge of AI technologies, supporting engineering teams and translating business needs into sustainable technical solutions.

• Define end-to-end architectures for AI and GenAI solutions;
• Design AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows and orchestration patterns;
• Select suitable models, platforms, frameworks and integration approaches;
• Establish standards for AI governance, security, responsible AI and compliance;
• Guide engineering teams during implementation, integration and deployment;

• Lead architecture reviews and communicate options and trade-offs to stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years in solution architecture, data architecture, AI architecture or related roles;
• Experience delivering production-grade AI, ML or GenAI solutions;
• Experience working across technical and business teams in complex environments.
• Experience designing enterprise AI, ML or GenAI solutions;
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, AI agents and orchestration patterns;
• Knowledge of AI application architecture, APIs and cloud-native integration;
• Understanding of model evaluation, monitoring and lifecycle concepts;
• Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge retrieval and data foundations;
• Knowledge of AI security, governance and responsible AI principles;
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills;
• Excellent proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vertex AI or a comparable cloud AI platform;
• Experience with agentic or multi-agent architectures;
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI observability practices;
• Experience in complex enterprise or telecommunications environments;
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks and enterprise governance models.

from € 35,057 to € 57,475 for Level 1 of the CCNL Commercio

The salary range indicated has been defined in compliance with European and national regulations on pay transparency.

The minimum value of the salary range corresponds to the minimum remuneration provided for by the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the level and role indicated above and does not necessarily represent the starting salary. The compensation offered at the end of the recruitment process will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, professional experience, seniority level, and the specific characteristics of the selected profile, in line with the company’s compensation and grading framework, and in accordance with objective and gender-neutral criteria.
