A leading technology firm is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to capture new opportunities and grow business in Italy. The candidate should have over 5 years of demonstrated sales experience in enterprise software, ideally in the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities include building relationships with customers and channel partners, qualifying leads, and developing strategies to increase sales confidence. This role offers a hybrid working model.

Competenze

  • 5+ years of demonstrated sales experience in enterprise software, ideally within manufacturing in Italy.
  • Proven ability to self-generate and close new sales, consistently exceeding targets.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or Challenger sales frameworks preferred.

As an Enterprise Account Executive - Italy, you will capture new opportunities and grow business within designated existing accounts in close collaboration with channel partners in the region.

You will successfully build relationships and establish business value, working with prospects, customers, and channel partners. As an ambitious self-starter, you focus on creating a solid business pipeline while addressing problems that impact the achievement of financial goals.

You will be responsible for :

Identifying and qualifying leads and developing them into high-value opportunities

Working closely with channel partners to generate pipeline and close sales in a co-sell motion

Building relationships and communicating the differentiated value of Mendix to the customer at both the technical and business levels by identifying the customer approvers, decision-makers, and influencers to understand their needs and priorities to speed up and simplify the deal process

Developing strategies for the region and target accounts to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence whilst leveraging the strengths of the partners to create a differentiated value proposition

Taking the core role in the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities

Consistently collaborating with the extended team around all aspects of account and opportunity development

You’re the Account Executive we need if you have :

5 years + of demonstrated sales experience in enterprise software with a proven track record of self-generating and closing net new sales (ideally within the manufacturing sector in Italy), consistently exceeding performance targets and successfully collaborating with channel partners

You have a challenger mindset and a proven ability to handle complex sales cycles, including the ability to provide coordination and direction to your extended team. Confident working through ambiguity and unafraid to pivot quickly as business needs evolve

Experience working for MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler-based sales organisations is highly preferred

Demonstrated ability to build and leverage partner relationships

You are an excellent communicator in Italian and English

You reside in Italy (Milan or Emilia Romagna) with the ability to travel internationally within the designated territory
