A leading localization company is seeking a remote Copywriter to produce content for the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in copywriting, excellent editorial skills, and must be a native American English speaker. Knowledge of Italian is a plus. This freelance role requires about 20 hours of work per week, with flexible hours and the possibility of occasional on-site tasks in Milan.

STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago.

We are specialized in localization and internationalization.

We are looking for Copywriters with American English who will develop and write content for the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, refresh, and refine social media postings, newsletters, direct email marketing content, and similar materials.
• If the candidate masters Italian as a second language, they might be asked to support with some translations and adaptations.
• QA editorial content published mainly on newsletters, DEM, and social media.

Requirements

• Native speaker in English (US variant).
• Copywriting experience.
• Good editorial skills and attention to detail.
• Linguistic savvy and cultural awareness.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with multiple project priorities.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to execute autonomously.
• Critical reading and thinking skills.
• Open to constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of Italian would be considered a plus.

Field of expertise: Fashion, e-Commerce, Luxury.

Location: Remote. Anywhere in Europe and/or East Coast US to facilitate timezone.

If you are located near Milan, you may be requested to work on-site at the client’s premises occasionally.

Start date: May 2024.

Project Duration: Ongoing.

Employment Type: This role is on a freelancer basis, requiring about 20 hours per week (ideally 4 hours daily, 9:30 am CET - 1:30 pm CET, Monday to Friday).

Benefits Pay: Compensation is hourly.
