Four Seasons Naples Beach Club seeks an Engineering Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager in daily operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety. The role requires coordinating maintenance requests, training staff, and ensuring timely work orders are completed with high standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in kitchen equipment and laundry maintenance, trades in mechanics or refrigeration, and strong communication.

• Technical knowledge of building maintenance and plant operation, HVAC equipment and pumps, plumbing, and electrical.
• Trade school in mechanics or refrigeration strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and use work orders.

Engineer ing Supervisor

About The Role:

Assist the Engineering Manager s in the daily operation of the Engineering department and in all aspects of resort and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating . R espond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies. Assist with the planning, organizing, controlling and directing the workflow of engineering requests.

What you will do:

• Assist in the training, leading , motivating of team members and the planning of activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis.
• Assist to e nsure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary. This includes scheduling, ordering, and initiating projects.
• Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders and liaise effectively with the Director of Purchasing.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department.
• Ensure that the Perfect Room program is effective and meets company standards. Be able to make recommendations pertaining to Resort operations ensuring maximum efficiencies.
• Assist to m aintain logs on movement of stock items and tools and monitor distribution of items.
• Support the energy conservation program allowing the hotel to meet its annual budget targets.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed .
• Maintain close working relations with resort contractors who furnish reliable 24-hour emergency service.
• Assist with maintenance of all firefighting equipment in first class order and ensure that emergency procedures are understood and practiced by resort staff.
• Respond properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.
• Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Attend and participate in all required meetings.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2 + years previous experience in kitchen equipment and laundry, certifications preferred. Trade school in mechanics, refrigeration etc. strongly preferred
• Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and main plant operation, HVAC equipment and pumps, plumbing, and electrical.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
• Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• The ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
