Engineering Manager (Python) Remote Italy to €90,000

As an Engineering Manager, you will head up a cross-functional team and be responsible for the delivery and technical quality of all features and applications in that area, as well as the team's personal development. You'll guide the definition of the technical roadmap, ensuring that the system complies with software engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security.

Supporting the team to ensure they can deliver on time, managing resources, removing blockers, and providing training and career development paths to drive continuous improvement.

About you :

• You have a strong software engineering background with Python, data-centric development.
• You are an experienced technical leader, able to create a culture of software engineering excellence.
• You can conduct code reviews and provide coaching and mentoring.
• You have effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information.
• You are delivery-focused and have experience managing technical projects.
• You have commercial acumen.
• You have fluent English skills; Italian would be a bonus but is not necessary.
• You are degree-educated in a technical or scientific discipline, with Computer Science preferred.
