Engineering Manager (Python) Remote Italy to €90,000

Do you have a Python software development background combined with experience managing high-performing software engineering teams?

• As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team and be responsible for the delivery and technical quality of all features and applications in that area, as well as the team's personal development. You'll guide the definition of the technical roadmap, ensuring that the system complies with software engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security.

You will support the team to ensure they can deliver on time, manage resources, remove blockers, and provide training and career development paths to drive continuous improvement.

About you :

• You have a strong software engineering background with Python and data-centric development.
• You are an experienced technical leader, capable of creating a culture of software engineering excellence.

• You possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information.
• You are delivery-focused with experience managing technical projects.
• You have commercial acumen.
• You are fluent in English; Italian is a plus but not necessary.
• You have a degree in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably Computer Science.
