The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in engineering, with over 5 years of experience, and solid skills in project management and budgeting. Key Purpose:

Drive improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce waste, complexity, and costs across the site. Evaluate, plan, and implement project activities. Coordinate engineering, electrical maintenance, external services, and maintenance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal (QHSE, Manufacturing, R&D, etc.) and external (group teams, suppliers, contractors, authorities, etc.) stakeholders for technical support; contribute to the site management team; lead key site improvements; provide leadership and vision.
  • Manage all aspects of the site engineering function, ensuring quality of service and implementing best practices; oversee teams and projects.
  • Act as the primary contact for project delivery: define, execute, and monitor projects regarding specifications, tenders, budgets, and CAPEX; resolve design issues; select contractors; establish schedules; plan shutdowns and installations.
  • Develop and manage the site engineering budget, including electrical maintenance, to meet financial targets by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Create and deliver project work plans aligned with business requirements and objectives; monitor project performance for continuous improvement.
  • Manage KPIs across all site engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning tasks and communicating deliverables.
  • Inspire and develop staff; mentor team members to build skills and achieve excellence.
  • Prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards by establishing and enforcing relevant policies and procedures.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies across all site engineering areas.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in project management.
  • Solid foundation in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and OPEX principles.
  • Management skills related to budgeting and investments.
