A leading tire manufacturing company in Italy is seeking an Entry-level Construction Engineer to join their EMEA Consumer Replacement Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for product development, quality assurance, and supporting innovative projects. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and fluency in English. Experience in CAD/CAM software is preferred.

Overview

Our Innovation Center – Luxembourg is currently looking for a Construction Engineer to be part of the EMEA Consumer Replacement Team. Your main responsibilities will be to act as Tire Engineer assigned to Tire development and industrialization. You will also provide support to functional projects (tools, processes and standards) leading to efficiency improvements and new capabilities, and TI project developing, evaluating, and implementing new technology to improve product performances.

Responsibilities

• Act as Construction Engineer to develop and release new product in terms of performance, quality, and on time.
• Support innovative projects driven by Construction expertise, leading to new guidelines and knowledge.

Education

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.

Languages

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Fluency in French and/or German is an asset.

Experience

We are open to recent graduates with limited industry experience; however, the below experience would be advantageous:

• Experience in product/technology development.
• Experience in process development activities.
• Experience in project and/or people management.

IT, Soft Skills & Others

• Interest in tire business or automotive industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Sense of responsibility and urgency. Showing initiative - being proactive.
• Rigorous & Quality focus.
• CAD/CAM (preferred software Catia V5).
