Job Description

The Engineer II is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. The role involves performing maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and mechanical work.

• Provides excellent customer service, positively interacts with customers and employees, and handles difficult situations professionally.
• Fabricates, repairs, and maintains mechanical devices, motors, and pumps.
• Keeps the workshop organized by cleaning tools and storing parts properly.
• Assists in building interface or accessory equipment as needed.
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests to ensure courteous and expert service.
• Repairs and installs structural woodwork and equipment; prepares wall surfaces for painting and wall coverings.
• Performs upholstery work as needed.
• Installs and maintains tile, marble flooring, carpet, and carpet tiles.
• Operates milling equipment, lathes, and power tools; performs welding tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paint mixing techniques and airless spraying equipment.
• Knowledge of upholstery techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Knowledge of materials and installation techniques for carpet, stone flooring, and hardwood floors.
• Understanding of property layout, including sprinkler risers and emergency generator systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications per federal, state, and gaming regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Typically, these skills are acquired through a high school education and at least two years of related experience, or through an A.A. degree in a related field or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
