Recently, we expanded our capabilities by acquiring F.A.T.I., a renowned company in Italy specializing in process heaters. This acquisition allows us to enhance our range of electric heaters used in various industries around the world.

The Role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our FATI team in Italy (Cusago, Milano). Under the supervision of an experienced Design Engineer, you will learn more about Process Heating design. You will be responsible for performing engineering activities and providing technical support for the design and manufacturing of industrial control panels and heating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design of various sized projects
• Interaction with customer (internal or external) representatives on technical clarifications
• Create and review drawings using proprietary software
• Review technical specifications: prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other engineering documentation
• Provide technical support to Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality departments
• Review updated codes and standards and assess the impact on existing product design
• Participate in audits pertaining to electrical product certifications
• Ensure a safe workplace, including compliance with established safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures

Your Skills

• Working knowledge in drafting drawings (AutoCAD, PV Elite, MicroStation)
• Experience with MS Office skills
• Technical knowledge of electricity (Ohm's Law, voltage, amperage, circuits) is desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with team members, supervisors, and internal/external customers
