SLIMPA SPA is seeking an Engineer, Control System to join the Electrical R&D department based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA).

The role involves managing and planning projects aligned with Business Line and platform roadmaps to ensure customer benefits, product cost efficiency, quality, reliability, competitiveness, timely market entry, and smooth operations. The engineer will ensure the development of globally harmonized platforms, minimizing variants and components.

The candidate should possess deep knowledge of tools and applications related to the platform for maintaining existing configurations, developing new product releases, and planning future developments based on business needs.

Responsibility also includes ensuring platform quality and reliability, addressing quality issues as needed.

The role requires designing electrical components and wiring diagrams using CAD tools.

This position offers a significant opportunity to evolve towards more customer-driven activities and to act as a business partner.

Professional requirements:

1. Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Automation Engineering
2. Background in product/project management
3. Italian language skills are preferred
4. Basic knowledge of programming languages and APIs is advantageous
5. Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) is a plus
6. Leadership qualities: inspire, energize, coach, and celebrate success
7. Strong collaboration skills: establish effective internal/external relationships
8. Experience in Product Change Management
9. Knowledge of Electrical CAD is a plus
10. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
