A leading company in energy solutions is seeking an Energy Platform & Data Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Bollate, Italy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs, as well as expertise in SCADA systems. This role offers the ability to contribute to the development of a new Energy Platform aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.

Competenze

We are looking for a Energy Platform & Data Acquisition Specialist who will join our Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Team, based in Bollate, who is willing to contribute actively in the development of our brand new Energy Platform.

Key Responsibilities :

• Programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs to ensure operation and communication within the site infrastructure.
• Designing and programming SCADA systems for effective data acquisition, visualization, and control.
• Implementing OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP / IP and other automation protocols for data exchange.
• Configuring Ethernet and intranet settings to establish reliable communication networks within the infrastructure.

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and RTU functionalities and programming.
• Experience in SCADA programming and design.
• Knowledge of Codesys language for control logic development.
• Familiarity with OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP / IP and other automation protocols.
• Expertise in configuring Ethernet and intranet settings.
• Solid understanding of software and IT principles related to automation and monitoring systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the English language

Additional Qualifications (if applicable) :

• Proficiency in remote monitoring and control technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for protecting critical infrastructure.
