We are looking for an Energy Efficiency Manager to optimize energy consumption across test facilities and equipment in the automotive sector. You will play a key role in improving energy performance, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards, and leading projects to implement sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits of automotive test facilities and equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and propose technical and economic solutions.
- Implement and monitor energy optimization projects.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on energy-related installations and equipment.
- Supervise technical interventions to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to integrate best practices in energy efficiency.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise energy improvement projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and performance goals.
- Prepare technical reports and present results to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with energy, environmental, and safety regulations (including ISO 50001 certification).
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in energy efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve energy performance.
- Raise awareness and train staff on best practices for energy savings, promoting a culture of energy efficiency within the company.
Requirements
- Native-level Italian and professional English (B2 or above).
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s in Energy/Energy Efficiency or related field is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in energy efficiency project management.
- Professional experience in the automotive sector, ideally with test equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of energy systems, technologies, and energy/environmental regulations.
- Skilled in energy modeling and simulation tools.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and collaborate across teams.
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
