RINA Naples office is seeking a Junior Bridge Engineer in the Civil Engineering Division to assist with planning, designing, and maintaining bridge structures under supervision. You will apply engineering principles to ensure safety and longevity of infrastructure projects and collaborate with project teams across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and internships; familiarity with SAP2000, LARSA or MIDAS Civil is desirable as you develop proficiency in

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Internships or co-op experience in bridge engineering beneficial.
• Basic familiarity with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, LARSA, or MIDAS Civil is desirable.
• Understanding of load analysis and materials properties.
• Willingness to learn relevant design codes and standards such as AASHTO LRFD.

Mansioni

• Bridge design and analysis considering load-bearing capacity, materials, and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering disciplines to develop bridge project plans.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of existing bridges to evaluate structural integrity.
• Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction activities to align with designs and specifications.
• Maintain records and prepare reports summarizing progress and outcomes.
