Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites applications for a Young Professional Officer (Agricultural Biotechnologies) based in Rome, Italy. The role focuses on developing and implementing biotechnologies programs to transform agrifood systems and enhance food security, within the Office of Innovation (OIN).

The position demands strong data skills, collaboration across units and effective communication with stakeholders.

Competenze

• Advanced degree in biotechnology with focus on food security and development.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in agrifood biotechnologies projects.
• English proficiency and knowledge of another FAO official language (Arabic/Chinese/French/Russian/Spanish).
