EMEAI Regional Sales Manager Chlor Alkali, Varese

We are seeking a highly experienced EMEAI Regional Sales Manager for the Chlor Alkali business to drive sales growth and expand market presence in the EMEAI region. This role involves managing sales teams in Italy and Germany, developing strategic sales plans, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Participate in defining regional sales strategies, targets, and budgets in coordination with the Regional Sales Director.
  2. Sales Growth & Revenue: Achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue goals within designated regions.
  3. Market Expansion: Increase market share by identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
  4. Customer Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  5. Customer Acquisition & Networking: Acquire new customers, participate in trade shows, and develop business relationships.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, set objectives, and lead specific sales projects when necessary.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations teams.
  8. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends, monitor competitors, and identify new opportunities.
  9. Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  10. Change Management: Support the implementation of new strategies and procedures.
  11. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage sales teams to achieve goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in sales within the EMEAI region, preferably in electro-chemistry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the CA market and industry trends.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Fluent in English; German and/or Italian language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to drive change and foster innovation.
