Service Director, EMEA

We are seeking a leader skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels and across functions, coaching, negotiating, resolving conflicts, team building, and more.

Your Responsibilities

  1. The LMS EMEA Service Director manages all LMS Field Operations related to Service, including profitable growth of service revenue, installation of new and demonstration equipment in EMEA, service contract field repairs/refurbishment within SLA terms, demand service, and warranty repairs.
  2. Manage and oversee an organization with 120 staff, including Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service Delivery, and Service Contract Sales, ensuring satisfactory performance, business objectives, revenue, and profit targets.
  3. Actively pursue customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and high-quality service support, incorporating Danaher Business Systems Tools into daily work.
  4. Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations to respond and fulfill agreements with Customers, Dealers, and Authorized Third Parties within the assigned area.
  5. Own and optimize the regional Service P&L to achieve financial objectives and create above-market economic growth.
  6. Recommend and manage spare parts inventory, supplies, etc., to meet contractual commitments and customer expectations.
  7. Establish close relationships with Sales Management to foster team collaboration and capitalize on sales opportunities. Collaborate with Business Unit Management to address escalated issues and represent the company professionally.

Your Profile

  • You have completed an undergraduate degree; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You have at least 10 years’ experience in a global organization.
  • You have successfully managed and developed customer-facing organizations.
  • Previous experience managing a field service organization is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing customer relationships is strongly preferred.
  • You are fluent in English.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% within EMEA territory.
