We have an exciting opportunity to join Baxter Compounding as an EMEA Quality Systems Senior Manager. Reporting to the Director of Quality, EMEA Compounding Pharma, this role is responsible for leading the implementation, monitoring, and promoting continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) at EMEA Compounding sites, in accordance with Baxter and local regulatory requirements, to ensure the provision of safe and effective compounded products. You will also coordinate global initiatives pertaining to the QMS across global compounding sites in line with business objectives and strategy.

This position can be based in the UK (Thetford, Oxford, Croydon, or Stockport), France, or Italy.

Travel will be required, with approximately 25% of your role involving travel to UK, Ireland, Italy, and France to maintain presence at other compounding sites.

What will you be doing in this role

  • Provide technical expertise and support to Baxter's aseptic compounding sites in EMEA to ensure robust, effective, and compliant quality systems.
  • Drive harmonization and continuous improvement of the QMS through the development and implementation of global QMS strategies and policies.
  • Facilitate communication and information sharing on QMS elements, including collaboration with sites and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance risks proactively.
  • Periodically review the suitability and effectiveness of the quality system with executive management.
  • Represent EMEA and global compounding at Baxter QMS forums.
  • Support all aspects of the global compounding business strategy and objectives.

What experience are we looking for

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to make decisions, solve problems, and think critically
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Well-developed verbal, written, numeric, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Experience in pharma roles with specific exposure to sterile, aseptic manufacturing
