Overall Purpose of this Job:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic compliance leader to establish and oversee a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Healthcare Compliance Risk Management (HCC) in the EMEA region. This role will focus on centralizing key compliance tasks, including monitoring, third-party intermediary (TPI) due diligence, map management, compliance communication, and training. The successful candidate will also serve as the Compliance Officer for Italy, ensuring effective implementation of compliance programs, risk management strategies, and regulatory adherence.

The position involves leading transformation initiatives, leveraging data analytics, automation, and innovative solutions to enhance services, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency. The individual will work closely with HCC leadership, cross-functional teams, and Johnson & Johnson business partners to implement a compliance transformation roadmap and elevate the HCC IM EMEA program to best-in-class standards.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Leadership & Strategic Oversight:
    • Establish and lead the Compliance CoE for EMEA, transitioning from manual to data-driven compliance solutions.
    • Define and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for compliance excellence.
    • Spearhead digital transformation initiatives using data analytics and automation.
    • Develop a compliance transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  2. Risk Management & Healthcare Compliance:
    • Oversee compliance monitoring and TPI due diligence processes, ensuring regulatory adherence.
    • Use data insights to identify risks and inefficiencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
  3. Compliance Communication & Training:
    • Develop and manage compliance communication and training programs.
    • Collaborate with teams and senior executives to provide strategic compliance insights.
    • Drive awareness and education on compliance policies and updates.
    • Serve as the Compliance Officer for Italy, overseeing local compliance programs.
  4. Other Duties:
    • Stay informed of digital trends and innovations for continuous improvement.
    • Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for digital solutions.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
  • 10+ years in healthcare compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs, preferably in pharma, MedTech, or healthcare sectors.
  • Experience managing transformation projects.
  • Expertise in data analysis, project management, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital tools and innovation in compliance.
  • Ability to analyze workflows, solve problems, and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of healthcare laws, anti-bribery, anti-corruption regulations (including FCPA), and industry codes.
  • Experience leading regional compliance initiatives and engaging with senior leadership.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and negotiation.
  • Track record of advising stakeholders on compliance challenges.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
