Your New Role...

As the Italy Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how audiences in Italy experience content on HBO Max. Reporting to the Regional Markets Lead, you will focus on optimising content visibility and engagement by adapting global strategies to the Italian market. With a focus on audience behaviour and local content, you will help create a seamless and personalised experience for Italian subscribers.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Italian homepage, including merchandising local originals and country-specific content.

Execute select pan-European pages in partnership with the wider EMEA Merchandising team.

Apply CMS and personalisation tools to deliver effective, data-informed content experiences.

Work with Campaigns, Sports, CRM, and Marketing teams to align merchandising with wider brand initiatives.

Resolve high-priority operational issues to maintain smooth platform performance.

Adapt global and regional strategies to suit the Italian market and cultural trends.

Shape merchandising approaches for local originals programming and local acquisition activity.

Use performance data to provide insights and recommendations to regional and global teams.

Act as the main merchandising contact for local Marketing and Content stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing workflows, tooling, and best practices across EMEA.

Qualifications & Experience...

Language Skills : Fluency in English and Italian.

Content Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Italian content, WBD’s catalogue, and the wider market landscape.

Evidence-Based Approach : Ability to interpret data and adjust merchandising or content strategies accordingly.

Audience Focus : Dedicated to creating seamless, personalised experiences that increase engagement.

Operational Expertise : Experience with digital merchandising, CMS tools, and workflow optimisation.

Cross-Functional Skills : Experienced in working with teams across Scheduling, Marketing, Content Ops, Engineering, and other areas.
