A leading global space manufacturer is seeking an EMC System Engineer in Torino, Italy. This role involves ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of Space Systems, analyzing EMC requirements, and defining testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electronic engineering, experience in EMC design and testing, and excellent proficiency in English. Knowledge of Matlab and related tools is essential. Willingness to travel is mandatory.

Competenze

• Experience in the EMC field, both at the design and testing level.
• Knowledge of EMC MIL / ECSS regulations preferred.
• Excellent written and oral English.

• Ensure electromagnetic compatibility of Space Systems.

We are looking for an EMC System Engineer

Main Tasks

• As the person responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of Space Systems, He/She will be responsible for:
• Analyze the applicable EMC requirements at the system level, deriving the lower level requirements (unit and sub-system)
• Define the EMC activities to be applied to the project to ensure compliance of the project with the applicable requirements
• Analyze and evaluate the adequacy of the proposed design, with respect to the project\'s EMC environment, both at unit and system level.
• Define, track and evaluate the results of unit and system level testing campaigns.
• Following a "bottom-up" philosophy, which involves starting from the results of tests and analysis at the unit level, analyzing, by means of specific SW EMC (eg CST, FEKO, etc), the compliance of a spatial system with applicable EMC requirements.
• Attend technical meetings with partner companies and international clients.

Educational qualification

Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent

Experience

Experience in the EMC field, both at the design and testing level (knowledge of EMC MIL / ECSS regulations will be considered preferential)

Skills and knowledge

• Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink, Mathcad, CST and / or FEKO, or similar tools for 2D and 3D EMC / RF analysis
• Scientific training (Mandatory)
• Good ability to learn new calculation tools (Required)

Foreign Languages

• Excellent written and oral English
• Knowledge of the French language will be considered preferential

Others

Wide willingness to travel, including medium / long-term trips in Italy and abroad (Mandatory).
