RINA is seeking a Verification & Validation Engineer to join our Digital Product & Platform Engineering teams across Rome, Venegono, and Turin. You will design test plans, execute tests, verify requirements, and document results to ensure software quality and safety in embedded domains.

Experience with automated testing tools, static/dynamic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration is essential. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with degrees in Computer or Aerospace Engineering.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Verification and Validation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes in safety-critical domains.
• Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, Ada) for verification and validation.
• Deep experience with test management tools (VectorCAST/Cover/QA, LDRA, Parasoft, Jira, TestRail, Quality Center).
• Good proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (CUnit, CppUnit, Selenium, JUnit, pytest).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken

Mansioni

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and system integration tests.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in software behavior.
• Verify software requirements and design and ensure they are implemented correctly.
• Conduct static code analysis and review for coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct dynamic analysis to ensure timing requirements satisfaction.
• Validate software functionality against SW requirements and user needs.
• Perform usability testing and ensure user interface consistency and intuitiveness.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
