Telit Cinterion in Sardinia, Italy, seeks a Validation Engineer to work with the R&D team evaluating IoT wireless products on Open Linux enabled platforms. You will create, analyze and debug applications with the Open Linux SDK and design comprehensive test plans.

The role requires understanding how Linux systems are developed, compiled and run, plus developing automated test routines and maintaining test scripts. Collaboration, communication and problem solving in a team are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or near completion.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and C development.
• Basic Python programming skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Execute & analyse Test Sessions delivering detailed Test Reports on the Open LinuxSDK.
• Analyse test results and verify compliance with product specifications.
• Maintain, plan, design, develop test scripts aimed to validate IOT cellular wireless products.
• Bugs and Change Requests handling in Jira, manage assigned tasks and report validation status.

Job Summary

As a Validation Engineer, you will collaborate with our R&D team to evaluate IoT Wireless Products on Open Linux enabled platforms. Your responsibilities will include, among others the creation, analysis and debug of applications written with the Open Linux SDK, designing and deploying comprehensive test plans, and developing test case documents and automated test routines tailored for the Open Linux SDK architecture. A critical aspect of the role is to validate the whole Open Linux system, so the best candidate must have a full view of what a Linux System is and how applications are developed , compiled and runs on it

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Execute & analyse Test Sessions delivering detailed Test Reports on the Open LinuxSDK
• Analyse test results and verify compliance with product specifications
• Maintain, plan, design, develop test scripts aimed to validate IOT cellular wireless products
• Bugs and Change Requests handling in Jira, manage assigned tasks and constantly report on the validation status

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or currently enrolled students who are close to completing their degree (e.g., missing only a few exams or the sis).
• Deep knowledge of Linux and C development capabilities
• Basic Software programming skills (e.g. Python)
• Strong communication skills, problem solving and ability to work in Team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years‘ experience in product test development for cellular/wireless technology
• Experience with RF/HW automated test and measurement equipment would be a Plus
