Job Title : Embedded Software Developer – Communication

Position Overview

As a Full-Time Embedded Software Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize our SDPs, leveraging expertise in C / C++ programming, Linux OS or RTOS, and intermediate frameworks to create robust, high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will understand SDP technologies and have a proven track record in hardware and software integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for SDPs, focusing on Linux OS or RTOS applications and middleware.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and system architects for hardware-software integration.
• Implement device drivers, low-level interfaces, and communication protocols for hardware interaction.
• Optimize software performance for embedded and resource-constrained environments.
• Test and validate software modules to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Maintain documentation such as design specs, API references, and user guides.
• Stay updated with advancements in SDP tech, Linux kernel, RTOS, and middleware.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement.
• Report progress and technical updates to management.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management, and peer reviews.
• Lead small teams and projects as needed.
• Support field trials and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Uphold company values, policies, and ethics in all activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred but experience considered.
• Proven experience in Embedded Software Development with C / C++, focusing on Embedded Systems, RTOS, and Middleware.
• Experience with Linux OS, including kernel configuration and device drivers.
• Strong understanding of RTOS concepts and real-time application development.
• Knowledge of hardware/software integration and communication protocols.
• Experience with version control (Git), build systems (CMake), and debugging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and good command of English.
