Job summary

Alpitronic seeks a Software Developer focused on Cybersecurity Hardening to remediate embedded software vulnerabilities. You will partner with product managers and engineering teams to triage, address, and validate fixes with high-quality, well-documented code changes.

You will fix vulnerabilities across embedded codebases, contribute in agile sprints, and ensure robust security controls. Fluent English is expected; Italian or German knowledge is a plus, and our teams are based in Bolzano/Bozen

Qualifications

Master's degree in Informatics or Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
Significant experience programming microcontrollers and PLAs.
Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
Good understanding of embedded Linux environments.
Experience in developing network applications.
Independent, solution-oriented working attitude.
Analytical thinking and meticulous work style with problem-solving mindset.
Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
Fluent English; Italian or German knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Fix security vulnerabilities across embedded software codebases.
Work with product managers and developers in agile sprints to prioritize and resolve security issues.
Deliver clean, well-documented fixes that adhere to existing code conventions.
Support vulnerability analysis and remediation confirmation at validation level.
