STMicroelectronics is seeking an early-career or recently graduated engineer to support an AI research team on embedded machine learning and robotics projects in Italy. You will optimize models for STM32 microcontrollers and MPUs, assist in ROS2-based robotics integration, and help build tools for model training, quantization, validation, and deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and preparing results for publications.

Competenze

Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or similar field (enrolled or recently completed).
Strong programming skills in Python; working knowledge of C/C++.
Familiarity with PyTorch and TensorFlow; model optimization concepts.
Experience with Linux development environments and Git.

Mansioni

Support ML model optimization and deployment for resource-constrained edge hardware.
Assist simulation and integration tasks for robotics using ROS2.
Build automated tools and pipelines for training, quantization, validation, deployment.
Prepare benchmark results and technical documentation for papers/publications.
