We are hiring Embedded IoT / Edge Solutions Sales Representatives, Managers, and Directors to expand in industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as consumer electronics. Candidates should be technically skilled and familiar with embedded Linux and RTOS. We are expanding globally, accommodating candidates with good market access. We also seek Sales Team Managers and Regional Sales Directors. If your goal is a management role, continue with this process.
Ubuntu's server edition is widely used in connected devices and industrial PCs. Ubuntu Core, our IoT edition, offers high security and resilience for appliances and equipment. Our customers include brands in consumer and industrial electronics, automotive, and robotics. We are expanding our offerings to bring security, management, and developer tools to small Linux environments and devices, including real-time Linux and certifications. Our portfolio aims for reliability, security, developer productivity, and footprint optimization.
This role involves prospecting and strategic account development, requiring energy, ambition, and focus. Success depends on positioning and selling open source, services, and software solutions to all organizational levels, especially departments developing embedded software and IoT devices. Familiarity with priority sectors is advantageous.
Customers value the security compliance and support for open source solutions from a single provider. Our goal is to offer more solutions than any other vendor across all clouds, compute types, and applications. We provide licensed enterprise software, support, managed services, consulting, and training for Ubuntu and open source applications on cloud, data centers, and IoT ecosystems. Ubuntu’s widespread adoption provides a strong market foundation. Sales professionals must develop relationships beyond inbound interest, assessing industry readiness and developing territory strategies. Effective pipeline management, reporting, and account planning are essential.
The successful candidate will have an annual bookings quota, be able to travel regionally and internationally, and will prospect, maintain relationships, and work with colleagues and partners on account strategies. Selling enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, and container technologies to senior enterprise levels is required.
