Job Description:

We are seeking an Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and test electronics for particle counting instrumentation, focusing on new product development and supporting existing engineering tasks.

You will utilize your skills in embedded microprocessor design, sensor circuitry, DC/DC converters, and related electronics. Collaboration with mechanical, firmware, supply chain, production, service, and management teams is essential.

Responsibilities include producing technical documentation such as design specifications and test reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
  • Proficiency with PCBA design, bring-up, and testing.
  • Experience with microprocessor circuitry, peripherals like FLASH, RAM, and interface chips.
  • Experience with Siemens Xpedition is a plus.
  • Design experience with Xilinx Zynq SOC, i.MX6, and similar.
  • Experience with FPGA and SOC simulation using Verilog.
  • Understanding of analog, digital, and EMC signal integrity.
  • Experience with analog circuit design and signal conditioning.
  • Proficiency with analog simulators like SPICE.
  • Ability to use test equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
  • Experience interfacing DDR memory, SPI, I2C, USB.
  • Knowledge of DC/DC converter and power sequencing design.
  • Basic programming skills in Python, Labview, C, or C++.
  • Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
