Wehunt is seeking a Firmware Developer to join our embedded systems team. You will design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded devices, spanning from low-level hardware interaction to user-facing interfaces, with strong C++, embedded Linux (Yocto).

The role requires hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms (ST, ESP32, NXP) and collaboration with hardware engineers. Genova or Bologna (max 1 day remote weekly); €30,000–€42,000 per year.

Competenze

• 3+ years of embedded firmware development.
• Strong C++ skills, modern standards.
• Hands-on Yocto Project and embedded Linux.
• Solid Python experience.
• Qt (Qt/QML) development a plus, hardware interface exposure.
• Good understanding of embedded systems constraints and architectures.
• Experience with debugging tools like JTAG/GDB and common protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Version control with Git.
