Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Italy is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation, morphological characterization, and electron microscopy analysis. The role involves alternating morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, in a high-tech lab supporting both development and production activities.

You will learn on equipment and analysis tools, contribute to method development, and collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Interest in materials science, microscopy, and laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for SEM and TEM analysis.
• Support characterization activities using optical and electron microscopy.
• Operate laboratory equipment for sample preparation and analysis.
• Contribute to characterization method development.
• Collect, organize, and analyze technical data.
• Support problem-solving and failure analysis activities.
