ABB Schweiz AG is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Arona, Italy. The role involves installing and maintaining LV products, including EV chargers, providing technical support, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Candidates should have an Electrical Engineering degree and relevant experience, joining a diverse team committed to impactful solutions.

Competenze

• 2 years of experience in LV products and services is required.
• Good command of written English and intermediate spoken English.
• Ability to travel frequently and with a valid driving license.

Mansioni

• Install, test and commission LV products, primarily EV chargers.
• Provide online technical support and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare service reports and ensure tools are in working condition.

This Position reports to:

Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site installation, testing & commissioning of LV products, including mainly EV chargers and ABB ability digital solutions
• Perform other field service activities including identifying problems, repairing, maintenance, replacement applications for LV products
• Online technical support for customers, sales team and partners, perform service works according to ABB’s technical, commercial and health & safety standards, perform trainings to customer at site and at ABB facilities
• Prepare the service reports and records that are necessary for the quality of service. Prepare the tools and equipments that are related to the jobs on the to-do list
• Provide the maintenance of the service tools and keep the test tools in working condition, ensure customer satisfaction during / after deliveries

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Electronic Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in LV products and services
• Good command of written English and intermediate/upper intermediate level of spoken English
• Team worker, professional, communicate effectively and customer oriented, proficient in planning and organizational skills
• Ability to travel frequently, a valid driving license
