Constellation Schools LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal in Parma, Ohio to assist the Principal in delivering a rigorous K-8 education and to foster a caring, high-expectation learning environment.

The role emphasizes instructional leadership, staff development, budget collaboration, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, while engaging families and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active Principal’s License or willingness to obtain an Alternative Principal’s license.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred; OTES credentialed or willing to become OTES credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the School Principal in implementing the school’s education program to raise student achievement.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized learning environment with high behavioral expectations.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and community partners; participate in Board meetings and school governance.
• Support budget development, staffing decisions, and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Lead professional development and collaborate on curriculum development and instructional best practices.
