Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) is seeking an Instructional System Specialist to lead PK-5 educational initiatives overseas. The role emphasizes coaching, leadership guidance, and school-wide implementation planning to improve student-centered learning and instructional effectiveness.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Education, DoDEA PK-5 licensure, and demonstrated PK-5 experience, with readiness for international assignments and compliance with background and suitability checks.

Competenze

• The course work must have been completed at or accepted by a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.
• a Master’s degree in Education is required for all Instructional System Specialist (ISS) positions.
• Specialized experience in teaching, educational materials, or educational administration in PK-5.
• Professional licensure under current DoDEA standards for PreK-5.

Mansioni

• Provide coaching (in-person and virtual) to Elementary PK-5 educators and leaders.
• Guide leadership teams in school-wide implementation planning including PD and scheduling.
• Foster professional practice improvement of teachers in PK-5 environments.
• Implement PK-5 instruction in student-centered learning environments.
• Advise educators in leveraging data to improve teaching effectiveness.
