Job summary

CityZ, a passionate startup in mobility and Smart Cities, seeks an Electronics Engineer to join the team in Piemonte. You will contribute to developing next-generation technology, focusing on firmware, MCU design, and IoT connectivity.

You will collaborate across disciplines, work with LoRaWAN/NB-IoT networks, and help prototype waterproof casings while sourcing quality components. Join us to shape sustainable urban mobility through cutting-edge hardware.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in firmware development for microcontrollers.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems.
• Familiarity with LoRaWAN or NB-IoT is preferred.
• Experience in API integration for IoT devices.

• Writing and optimizing firmware for IoT devices.
• Designing and working with microcontrollers to ensure high performance and energy efficiency.
• Supporting the integration of advanced IoT networks (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT).
• Assisting with the design and prototyping of waterproof casings for electronic components.

Requirements

Requirements Who we're looking for:

• Solid experience in writing firmware and working with microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32).
• Knowledge of electronic design principles and embedded systems.
• (preferential) Familiarity with IoT networks such as LoRaWAN or NB-IoT .
• Understanding of API integration for IoT devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
