The successful candidate will support the development of tailored system solutions, collaborating with clients to meet specific requirements while utilizing tools for testing and validation.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Electronic System Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

The Electronic System Engineer will support the development of tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements. They will contribute to designing, producing, and using Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE). These solutions aim to add value through design and process optimization and efficiency. The activities related to system specifications are defined with clear and comprehensive requirements, collaborating with client stakeholders and end-users to understand system needs. Junior or skilled profiles are considered for this role.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include :

• Drafting project documentation and integration / validation plans, and writing test scenarios.
• Providing effective support for tool validation and supporting the execution of verification tests of ground tools.
• Preparing programmatic and technical reports, contributing to project milestone reports, and supporting project reviews.

Skills :

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering, with good practice in risk management and requirements analysis.

The following skills are a plus :

• Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Understanding of voltage, current, power, and efficiency, as well as frequency, time domain, and transfer functions.
• Knowledge of design tools like Altium Designer, Kicad, LTSpice, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
• Basic knowledge of communication channels and I / O interfaces (experience with MIL-STD-1553 and deterministic Ethernet is beneficial).
• Basic understanding of avionics computer architecture; experience in this area is advantageous. Basic programming knowledge is also desirable.
