Fluid Wire Robotics in Italy's Pisa region is seeking an electronics hardware engineer for the Space Division. You will design and implement hardware for our robotic payloads aimed at in-orbit demonstrations and space robotics missions, collaborating with mechanical, software and automation teams to ensure cohesive system development.
The role emphasizes architecture definition, PCB prototyping, and integration with space vessel systems for successful IOD activities planned in the roadmap.

At Fluid Wire Robotics, we are taking on the challenge of developing a new generation of dexterous robotic manipulators designed for operating in the most extreme environments, from deep underwater to outer space, and even in radioactive zones. One of the most strategic milestones in our roadmap is the in‑orbit demonstration of our Fluid Wire technology planned for 2028 and supported by the EIC Accelerator. In this role, you will help turn that objective into a real mission: defining architecture and developing electronic hardware for our robotic payload for in orbit demonstration.
You’ll work within our Space Division, and you will be responsible for the electronics hardware development of our robotic platforms to perform missions in the fields of In-Orbit Servicing & Assembly and Debris Removal. You'll have hands‑on access to a broad range of robotic hardware and experimental equipment to test, validate, and refine your hardware. You’ll collaborate closely with world class mechanical and electronics, software and automation teams to ensure cohesive, system‑level development and planning.
