Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer – Electronic Controls to join our team at the forefront of safety science. You will influence certification approaches, plan projects, coordinate testing activities and engage with customers to deliver compliant solutions.

The role requires 3-5 years of related experience in electrical/electronics engineering, strong English communication, and willingness to travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronics engineering background required.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Strong project management skills (time management, Gantt charts).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development by defining required technical steps for offers.
• Create detailed project plans and provide regular management reporting.
• Oversee testing planning and coordination across internal/external labs for certification activities.
• Own project timelines and ensure deadlines are met with effective organization.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation to comply with certification standards.
• Assist in audits, data review, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure excellent service delivery.
