Electromechanical Technician in York, Maine

Pay : $29.70 per hour

Schedule : M-F 2p-10:30p

Assignment Length : Direct-hire

Duties :

1. Performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and maintaining accurate records
2. Inspecting equipment regularly to identify needed repairs and safety concerns
3. Training line operators on safety procedures like lock-out / tag-out
4. Recommending, evaluating, and installing new equipment or line improvements
5. Coordinating repairs with outside vendors and minimizing production downtime
6. Maintaining clean work areas, spare parts inventory, and responding to off-hours equipment issues

Requirements :

1. Graduate of technical or trade school
2. 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
3. Valid driver's license with no restrictions
4. Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
5. Maine boiler license (4th class or higher) preferred
