Aerospace Mechanical Engineer
Role Description:
We are seeking an Aerospace Mechanical Engineer for a project in the space sector, focusing on the design and development of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototyping of space mechanisms, structures, and ground support equipment;
- Structural and thermal analyses using FEA;
- Drafting technical documentation (2D drawings, reports);
- Participation in assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields;
- Independent experience in mechanical design;
- CAD knowledge (preferably Autodesk Inventor);
- Ability to perform FEA analysis (ANSYS is a plus);
- Basic knowledge of physics applied to space (vibrations, heat transfer, etc.);
- Fluent in English;
- Operational autonomy and teamwork skills.
