Bouygues Construction Expertises Nucleaire, in consortium with SPIE SAT, operates facilities for the pre-treatment and characterization of nuclear wastes at the Joint Research Center in Ispra, Italy, focusing on nuclear waste management and decommissioning.
The role of the Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer is to support the Facilities, Maintenance and Surveillance Manager (FMSM) in organizing planned and unplanned maintenance and to be assigned specific remediation projects on site.
The JRC has several complex characterization facilities equipped with automation systems that allow automatic measurements.
The maintenance engineer will ensure the facilities are available for measurement scheduling and maintenance implementation. In case of issues, the engineer, with the support of the FMSM, will identify solutions to resolve them.
