Job summary

STERIS in Rome, Italy, is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler on a fixed-term contract. The role involves assembling electronic, electrical, plastic and metal components using hand and automated tools in a well-lit, controlled environment.

Under supervision, you will read drawings and schematics, perform visual inspections, solder and terminalize cables, and collaborate with Quality and Warehouse teams to resolve issues and ensure quality production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with hand soldering and basic assembly tools.
• Able to work in a controlled, well-lit environment and follow EHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to procedures, drawings or supervisor instructions.
• Perform visual sorting or inspection of materials to meet quality standards.
• Interact with Quality and Warehouse to share information and fix issues.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other devices.
• Solder, cut wires, strip insulation and test sub-assemblies.
