Descrizione del lavoro

You will be a key member of the IMP (Integrated Multifunctional Products) engineering team in Lodi, contributing to various design projects. As Project Engineer for IMP, you will support all electrical systems aspects, especially the execution of Integrated GIS Applications (IGA), Multifunctional Modules (MFM), and other innovative prefabricated products.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and aligned with contractual specifications and quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities :

  • Verify documentation and technical requirements requested by the customer.
  • Design, size, and overhaul low voltage electrical panels, and draw related electrical diagrams.
  • Perform electrical and thermal sizing of power line panels.
  • Coordinate with other designers and supplier technicians.
  • Identify electrical components for new projects.
  • Archive and manage electrical technical documentation.
  • Gather and draft specifications based on customer orders.
  • Create bills of materials for material ordering.
  • Assist the purchasing office in researching new components.
  • Interface with other company functions such as mechanical design, automation, production, and service.
  • Uphold core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
  • A High School diploma in Electrical or Electrotechnical field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools.
  • Proficiency with design software Eplan (or E3) electrical CAD and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • High self-motivation, curiosity, and a collaborative approach.
  • Good organizational skills for work planning and project monitoring.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
