An international contractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sectors. Fluent English is required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Fano, Italy.

Position

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical engineering within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects, to join our Technical Department.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing electrical engineering activities during project execution and bid phases, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures, schedules, and approved project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical discipline activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Review technical annexes included in contracts and develop clarifications / comments if discrepancies are found.
• Prepare applicable standards and technical specifications if missing from the contractual documentation.
• Manage electrical discipline man-hours and promptly report any disruptions or additional needs.
• Attend technical meetings, kick-off meetings, and client meetings when required.
• Prepare and approve electrical engineering deliverables (specifications, datasheets, studies, reports, etc.).
• Conduct electrical design studies : Load Flow, Short Circuit, Earthing, Motor Starting Analysis.
• Review subcontractor engineering documents and vendor technical information.
• Maintain effective communication with other engineering disciplines, Project Management, and Client representatives.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Monitor design discrepancies between bid and detailed phases (quantities, equipment sizes).
• Ensure the quality of all deliverables in terms of technical content, compliance with international standards, and contractual requirements.
• Contribute to the development and support of the 3D Model in line with internal procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within EPC projects in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sectors.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and fast-paced project environments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Availability to work abroad if requested.
