A leading manufacturing company located in Rome is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee manufacturing operations. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and software failures and improving systems and processes. The ideal candidate has a technical degree, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Competenze

• Experience in maintenance with strong troubleshooting skills, especially electrical and mechanical.
• Knowledge of PLC (Siemens) and experience with robotics, extruders/injectors.

Mansioni

• Following safety rules and complying with H&S, Environment, and Quality management systems.
• Troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC Motors, Drives, Robots, and other Electrical components.
• Participating in diagnosing production and quality issues.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Maintaining manufacturing operations, troubleshooting hardware and software failures, and continuously improving systems, processes, and procedures in the area of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules and comply with H&S, Environment, and Quality management systems.
• Proactively participate in and promote 5S and safety programs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC Motors, Drives, Robots, and other Electrical components.
• Read and troubleshoot electrical prints and diagrams.
• Perform planned maintenance activities during equipment stoppages.
• Continuously inspect equipment to ensure correct operation and diagnose problems early.
• Participate in diagnosing production and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Cover for Production Technicians as required.
• Work to improve systems, processes, and procedures in the area of responsibility.

Skills & Competences:

• Technical Degree or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance with strong troubleshooting skills, especially electrical and mechanical.
• Knowledge of PLC (Siemens), Drive programming, and maintenance. Experience with robotics, extruders/injectors, and CNC machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Ability to work in a team and participate in continuous improvement activities using problem-solving techniques.
