TYPE OF CONTRACT

Fixed-term contract (6 months), including a monthly salary, travel expenses, board and lodgings, insurance cover (liability, health, and accident insurance), and paid leave to be taken at the end of the mission.

Role Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of high-power electrical generators, electronic transformers, stabilizers, power factor correctors, and electrical and electromechanical apparatus.

Background and Organization of Work

The technician reports to the Project Coordinator and the Technical Office of EMERGENCY in Italy (HQ). They will coordinate, supervise, and work alongside local staff, with an aptitude for training to support the professional growth of the national team.

The technician collaborates closely with the international project staff and works within various areas of the Centre: Technical Area, Hospital Area, Service Area, Lodgings, and Stores.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant and systems in the hospital and residential areas
  • Maintain hospital electrical systems
  • Identify and repair electromechanical automation systems
  • Manage and repair breakdowns of high-power electrical generators
Specific Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
  • Proficiency in plumbing systems and manual skills
  • Experience in plant and systems maintenance, professional installations
  • Skilled in working with apparatus involving comprehensive electronic circuitry
