A leading company in Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification services is seeking an Electrical Inspector for ongoing Oil & Gas projects in Southern Italy. The ideal candidate will have a technical education, extensive experience as a Vendor Inspector, and a strong understanding of instrumentation systems.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Vendor Inspector.
• Excellent knowledge of instrumentation systems and installation procedures.
• Good knowledge of low and high voltage equipment.

Mansioni

• Conduct second party inspections for compliance with specifications.
• Issue Inspection or Expediting Reports.
• Ensure vendors have updated documents and tools.

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for:

Electrical Inspector

for ongoing projects in Oil & Gas and related fields in the South of Italy.

Duties and Tasks

1. Second Party Inspections checking the compliance of materials, electrical equipment and related manufacturing procedures with contractual specifications and standards.
2. Ensuring that vendors are always in possession of the updated data/documents (e.g., ITP, QC procedures, etc.) and adequate tools to perform activities properly.
3. Electrical-instrumental testing activities.
4. Expediting activities: verification of the progress of orders in relation to contractual planning phases.
5. Issuing Inspection or Expediting Reports.

Requirements

• Technical education qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Vendor Inspector.
• Availability for spot inspections (on-call activities).
• Excellent knowledge of instrumentation systems, including correct installation procedures.
• Good knowledge of low and high voltage equipment.
• Knowledge of quality systems applied to the production of products for Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Mandatory requirement: P.IVA.
