A consulting and certification company in Italy is seeking electrical certified inspectors to expand their network. The role involves performing inspection activities and requires candidates to have CompEx and IECEx certifications, along with at least 3 years of inspection experience. Freelancers or those part of an inspection agency are encouraged to apply. The position offers flexibility in work arrangements.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector.
• Experience with daily inspections, project inspections, and third-party assessments.
• Ability to invoice as a freelancer or agency.

Overview

RINA is looking for electrical certified inspectors based in Italy, in order to increase our local network and perform inspection activities for our estimated clients.

Certificates

• CompEx Units – Ex01, Ex02, Ex03, Ex04
• IECEX Units – EX01,EX002, Ex003, Ex004, Ex007, Ex008
• EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area) qualification for inspection in accordance with AS / NZS 3000 / 60079- Australian Standard - (IECEx wiring rules)
• Documented training certificates with ATEX or EEHA
• ATEX / EN Annex A training for installation, maintenance, inspection, and application engineering.
• EEHA – training course

Experience

• Experience as Electrical Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term / long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;

Other requirements

• Ability to prepare daily / weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards / codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency / society; the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;

Location: Italy

Contract: To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities
